Default Scenario: Oman Green Hydrogen Supply Chain
This tool features a pre-configured green hydrogen supply chain situated in Oman. The default scenario models the end-to-end journey starting with green hydrogen production via solar PV and water electrolysis. The hydrogen is then stored in underground salt caverns before being transported through repurposed natural gas pipelines. Finally, it reaches the end-use application for residential cooking and heating, enabling a comprehensive assessment of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and Levelised Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH).
